Waldkraiburg is always worth a visit. Young, modern and lively our town allures visitors with its variety of possibilities to enjoy leisure time or to choose from the rich cultural programme for an evening event. Las but not least there is some history to experience: Several Museums and the "Weg der Geschichte" ("Path of History") illustrate the History of our town that startet after the Second World War. Events, e.a. the unique "Kunst und Kommerz" ("Art and Commerce"), sporting events, e.a. the Town Run or the youth international contest in high diving, the Volksfest (local festival) including its own beauty contest or the cozy Christkindlmarkt (Christmas faire) are possibilities to make a visit to Waldkraiburg an adventure.

People travelling here by car are guided by the traffic management system to help them find their destination. The train station is also near to the town centre und busses operate continuously during the day. Visitors travelling with bikes or by foot are also more than welcome.
